Andrew graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics and Medical Devices. As an undergrad, Andrew gained industry experience in the medical device field where he was a member of a mechanical testing team working towards gaining FDA approval for an investigational device exemption (IDE) for a Class III medical device. Andrew is also an active volunteer with the Engineer’s Without Borders UBC chapter where he is both a mentor and educator for local high school students.
