Nicole has earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Through her degree, Nicole has had the opportunity to intern at various biotech startup companies which helped her gain hands on experience in designing biomedical devices, rapid prototyping, and scaling up production. These experiences helped Nicole learn and gain confidence in the dynamic environment of growing companies, receiving an Intern of Merit award from the Engineering Career Centre at the University of Calgary. To expand her experience, Nicole completed her capstone project where her team won Gold in the multidisciplinary category at the 2024 Schulich School of Engineering Capstone Design Fair.
